The Kenyan Community In Ontario celebrated Independence"Madaraka" Day. although I was in abscentia, the photos herein tells is all.
I see someone invited The Late legendary King, Elvis Presley,(Two for the money").The crowd must have been roaring with laughter as he sang that classic song.
The Ngoma girls from University of Toronto, must also have shaken the leg amidst all the joy.Was there talk of Kanda Mbongoman competition? It was a diversely populated multi-cultural event, as I gather.
I bet the food must have been great , as I was told a Kenyan will be catering.
Some of my friends were there. I bet my friend DJ Solo(Flowmaster) must have been the mood maker for the night.
What was said?Did someone remind them what the auspicious accasionshould remind us?
